The beginning of my fascination with tea bags came from an artist’s camping trip into the red centre. As a student, I went to the Fink River in 2004, with the ANU NITA open art program, and Sandrifter 4WD Art and Outback Trips. I made the basics for the spot of painting, spot of tea book there! We drank a lot of tea around the open fireplace!
