STITCH IT. Mark-making is my thing! I make marks on hand-made paper, canvas, fabric, felt, and tea bags, with anything from thread, paint, pastels, and anything else that leaves a mark.
A sunny day at the beach in watercolour! Paint is immediate and I love that! I like to paint in watercolour and oil paint, or draw with pastels or charcoal.
I had a fun time painting these black sneakers! Something different for a fundraiser. I love the use of the line used like stitching because my favourite thing at the moment is DO IT!
STITCH IT!
my favourite basket! made from old electric cords! Don't we have a lot of them lying around! I just hate to think of them all in landfill!
I'm having a bit of a thing about my grandfathers fighting in WW1. Must have something to do with RUSSIA
I love teaching watercolor, hand mending, fitting your dress to you, sewing, quilting, paper making, and making do-extending the use of clothing, and household items.
